I've always painted since a very early age, studying, observing and documenting the world around me. It was, therefore, a natural decision to study Art at Batley School of Art, UK, Portraiture at Studio Escalier in Montmartre, Paris & Interior Architecture at the Metropolitan University of Manchester, UK.

After having worked as an Interior Architect for international architectural practices travelling extensively around South East Asia (notably Hong Kong on award winning projects) I've returned to painting.

Today, raising 3 children and 2 dogs, I've created my own Art & Design studio - The Art Room 62, Arras, France, painting and teaching every day, capturing in time moments, places, precious pets and people. With each painting my goal is to create a story in the traditional way, using realism to capture the essence of the subject before me.

I am also the President of a local art gallery "L'Oeil du Chas" in the local Arts Quarter and am also the Secretary of the Royal British Legion Somme Branch.
